chenqing_100Today is Qixi, one of China's traditional celebrations of romantic love, derived from the myth of the meeting of the Cowherd and Weaver Girl on the Magpie Bridge. The lantern decoration and release scene in The Untamed is set on this day and specifically references the myth.
