Next Wednesday is September 1st, marking the six-month anniversary of this community's first prompt. As such, this week will be our first amnesty week! That means that every prompt that has been posted in the community thus far is available for use. It also means that a few new drabble formats are allowed for this week only, which I will explain under the cut below.

Drabble Sequences:

While there is some wiggle room in the definitions of these two terms, for the purposes of this community, a drabble sequence any grouping of any form of drabbles that together form one complete story. Listed are but a few examples:

1. A single drabble divided into four sections of twenty five words.

2. A single drabble followed by a double drabble, followed by a triple drabble, followed by a double drabble, followed by a single drabble, posted as a single story, though each drabble chapter has its own title.

3. Five single drabbles posted as a single story, with only symbols dividing them as chapters.

Drabble Series:

See above about the wiggle room. However, for the purposes of this community, a drabble series is any grouping of any form of drabbles that are each, in and of themselves, a complete story, but together create an overarching narrative. Here are a few examples of that:

1. A single drabble followed by a single drabble, then a double drabble, then a double drabble, then a triple drabble, posted in the same entry, but listed as a series. Each drabble, of course, has its own title.

2. Six double drabbles posted as separate entries, each with the same series title.

As you can see, the key difference is whether you are posting with a series title or not. If not, use the usual posting template. If you are posting a series, please use the template below, which includes a field for a series title:

I chose to use this method to determine sequences and series in the comm in order to continue not to impose requirements on how (or if) people post their drabbles to AO3. Also, since Eliza said this question may come up, you may use multiple prompts for a drabble series. Just be sure to tag for all of them when you post.

For this week, please tag your posts with both the prompt: amnesty tag and the tags of any past prompts you use. You have until the next prompt goes up on Friday, September 3, to answer this prompt.

ETA: For those who post to AO3, would you like a separate Amnesty subcollection?

If posting to the older prompt collections is allowed during amnesty, I personally don't see the need for a separate amnesty collection. (Just my 2 cents.)
