Yibo has rules. The industry has them, but you don't grow up in it without developing your own. On-set flirtations are expected, even encouraged; the chemistry often translates well on-screen. Once filming's done, though, so are any...arrangements. He used to wait through promotion tours, but that got a little too real, and he's a better actor now.
Besides, he has UNIQ; the guys are happy to keep him occupied.
But this thing with Zhan-ge feels different. The guy's so new, and his filming schedule's giving him a crash course in the working side, but it's up to the cast to initiate him in the rest. And, as his co-star, that largely falls on Yibo. Which Yibo doesn't mind, Zhan-ge is a great guy, but. Zhan-ge is a great guy. Smart, creative, kind, funny, and gorgeous, even for their line of work. And no way has he had time to internalize the rules, let alone come up with his own. So, Yibo needs to be more careful for both of them, because he can tell Zhan-ge means everything more than he should.
Except Zhan-ge makes Yibo want to say, "Fuck the rules," makes him want it to be real. Zhan-ge makes him mean it.
"Bo-di," Zhan-ge murmurs in the breathless heat of a hotel room in summer, scrubbed clean of makeup, bare of costume and wig, on the edge of sleep. "Gege ai ni."
Just like that, Yibo has one rule: He's going to keep Zhan-ge.
