Jiang Cheng reaches for him, and then stops; on his face is a question, a rising panic—he’s always been so easy to read. Jin Guangyao could walk away right now, if he wanted, and this moment would cease to exist.
Instead, he steps closer.
And, when Jiang Cheng carefully cups his face in both hands and leans in, Jin Guangyao closes his eyes, and lets him.
This isn’t—something like this isn’t supposed to be easy. And it won’t be, tomorrow, when they wake up and have to be the men they are again.
But for now...for this moment—it is.
