Zidian is a bolt of lightning shaped by his uncle's will; when it uncoils it's as sudden and deadly as a snake, and it's always in anger, always in hatred.

When Jin Ling gives his uncle the ring back and unsheathes his sword instead he's not thinking this is a fight to protect, this isn't what Zidian is for but he feels it all the same, a tug in his gut, decades of history stretched taut behind him, waiting for him to move.

Forward, then.

Suihua is the legacy he was always meant to inherit; the hatred ends here, today.
